UPDATE (11/6 2:14 pm) – St. Francis will be playing Mater Dei High School in Friday’s state semifinal contest.
The St. Francis girls volleyball team has advanced to the state semifinals round of playoff competition.
The state semifinal game will be played on Friday, November 11th, at Redbird Arena on the Illinois State University Campus. Gametime is scheduled as 4:30 p.m.
The girls will play the winner of tonight’s game between Mater Dei High School of Breese and University High School of Normal. Check back on this page for an update as to the winner of this contest.
If St. Francis wins the state semifinal game, the team will advance to the 3A state title game. The state title game will be played on Saturday, November 12th at Redbird Arena. Gametime is tentatively set at 5:30 p.m.
